Sit-in, crowbar and brawl in South Korea

The ruling Democratic Party (DP) and the conservative, main opposition Liberty Korea Party (LKP) are fighting over fast-track reform bills. At one point, the National Assembly speaker called the police.

LKP was blocking meetings with sit-ins, DP members used hammers and a crowbar to open doors. Some of the involved were injured and taken to hospital.

One parliamentarian of another opposition Party was locked in his room for hours. National Assembly speaker alledgedly suffered a shock from low blood sugar and had to be taken to hospital, too.
