Georgia – Brawl erupts between Georgian parliamentary candidates on live TV

Two Georgian politicians poured water over each other and exchange kicks and blows during live TV debates ahead of the parliamentary election.

A member of the Industrialist party Zaza Agladze poured a glass of water over his opponent Irakli Glonti from State For The People party.

Glonti replied with throwing water on his opponent. They continued with trying to push and kick each other as presenter Maka Razmadze who also got splashed with water tried to keep them apart in the studio.

Georgia – fistfight in political Talkshow

A fistfight erupted between candidates for the Georgian Parliament late on Wednesday during a political talk show.

Candidates from the Democratic Movement and the Industrials political bloc started to insult each other while on air at the regional TV network Qvemo Kartli, before getting into a physical fight.

The political climate is heating up in Georgia in the run up to elections scheduled for 8 October 2016.
